Two Weekend Drug Busts in Auburn

AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO): A marijuana bust over the weekend in Auburn. Just before 3:00 Saturday afternoon, Auburn Police responded to a report of a marijuana smell south of the city's downtown. The homeowner gave consent for officers to search the house, and police also had a search warrant. Police found around 4 ½ pounds of marijuana, paraphernalia, items associated with making marijuana, over $6,000 in cash, and 8 firearms. 57-year-old John Wyss was arrested and charged with dealing marijuana, possession of the drug, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.

An Auburn Police Officer pulled over a vehicle Sunday afternoon for traffic violations. During the stop, a K-9 provided a positive alert, and a search followed, during which a white powder believed to be Methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and several precursors associated with meth making were found. 32-year-old Jackie Bess and 32-year-old Bobbie Bess were arrested and face several charges.
