Two Plead Not Guilty after Alleged School Bullying

FRANKFORT, Ind. (AP) _ A former student at a central Indiana high school and a suspended student have pleaded not guilty to charges alleging they bullied another student in a locker room.

Eighteen-year-old Austin Martin and 19-year-old Kyle Johnson face three counts each of criminal confinement and misdemeanor battery in connection with three separate incidents at Clinton Prairie High School involving a 15-year-old freshman.

The Frankfort Times reports the two were arrested Monday and bonded out of jail. It's not clear whether either man has hired an attorney.

An Indiana State Police detective says in a probable cause affidavit the bullying occurred April 23-25.

Clinton Prairie Superintendent Chris Sampson says one of the two men has been expelled and the other has been suspended while he appeals his expulsion.
