Two People Facing Drug Charges

FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): Fort Wayne Narcotics Detectives had been investigating some cocaine sales at a home on Oxford Street just north of McMillen Park.

After serving a search warrant at the home this afternoon, numerous items of cocaine paraphernalia and scales were found on the kitchen table. Along with that, a handgun, shotgun and body armor were also found inside the residence, however, no one was home at the time of the search.

A short time later, the homeowner, 37-year-old Rodney Armour was found at the intersection of Anthony and Tillman, and the arrest was made. Upon further investigation, 2.1 grams of cocaine was discovered in Armour’s buttocks.

Armour is charged with dealing cocaine within 1,000 feet of a public park, dealing cocaine, and possession of marijuana.

The driver of the car, 30-year-old Daniel Wehrle was also arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of paraphernalia.

In the meantime the investigation is ongoing.
