Two People Being Held in Noble County for Ligonier CVS Robbery

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Ligonier Police have two people in custody for their involvement in a recent pharmacy robbery.


According to officers with the Ligonier Police Department, 23-year-old Joseph Easterday and 24-year-old Abby Jackson, both of Cromwell, allegedly robbed the CVS Pharmacy in Ligonier on July 31.


Several tips form the public, led police to Easterday and Jackson.


The arrests were timely and the investigation proceeded quickly due to great work from our officers and the involvement from local citizens,” stated Ligonier Police Chief Bryan Shearer.


Wednesday morning, a Noble Superior Court judge found that there is probable cause to believe that Easterday and Jackson committed the felony of Robbery. The State has been given until Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., to file formal criminal charges against Easterday and Jackson.


Until further order of the Court, Easterday and Jackson will be held in the Noble County Jail without bail.
