FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are looking for two men who tried to rob a credit union Wednesday morning on the eastside of Fort Wayne.

According to Jeff Bowman with our partners in news at 21Alive, two men entered the Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union at the corner of Inwood and Delaware at about 10:10 Wednesday morning.

They were covered head to toe and one of them had a handgun, Bowman says but they ended up leaving the credit union emptyhanded.

No other details are available. The two men are believed to have left on foot, but Bowman says they may have had a getaway vehicle nearby.

This location was a frequent target of holdups before it recently changed into Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union.
