Two Killed in I-69 Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A rush-hour crash in Huntington County left two people dead yesterday.

It started when a minivan headed northbound on I-69 crossed the grassy median, got into the southbound lanes and hit a jeep head-on near the GM assembly plant at mile marker 296. The drivers of each vehicle, both males, were killed, with two women seriously injured. It took police four hours to clear the scene and reopen all lanes.

No word yet on what caused the crash or who exactly was involved.
