Two Girls In Off Road Accident In Wells County

KEYSTONE, Ind. (WOWO): Two girls were hospitalized after an off-road vehicle accident. 

Around 6:50 p.m. Friday night, 12 year old Trinity Wine and 12 year old Tess Gilbert were on a Polaris Ranger off-road vehicle on private property.  Wine was driving on a gravel driveway in the area of 1500 E. 900 S. in Keystone when she lost control and rolled the vehicle over.  Neither of the girls were wearing a seat belt or helmet and were ejected from the vehicle.  Gilbert was thrown clear of the machine, but Wine was pinned underneath. 

Gilbert was transported by ambulance to Bluffton Regional Medical Center to treat a back injury.  Wine was transported in serious condition to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for head and internal injuries.
