FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne GM plant has been recognized for building top-quality vehicles once again.
The Chevrolet Silverado LD and HD won the top spot in their respective J.D. Power Initial Quality Study categories.
Both trucks are made at the GM Fort Wayne Assembly plant, and the awards mark the seventh time in eight years that the GM Fort Wayne Assembly plant has been recognized for building the best quality vehicles, according to J.D. Power.
The two Silverado awards represent two of the seven J.D. Power awards that GM earned, beating out Toyota’s six awards and the four awards both Hyundai and Volkswagon earned.
