Two Fort Wayne Fires Under Investigation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) _ Two vacant homes in Fort Wayne were damaged after a pair of Saturday afternoon fires.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department says it started at 4:42pm with a fire at 3617 Bowser Street in a bedroom; then a second fire was reported less than an hour later at 406 Violet Court in the home's attic, which took firefighters about 10 minutes to deal with. Both homes sustained moderate damage, and nobody was hurt.

The cause of both fires is under investigation; no word yet on if they're connected.
