Two Arrested for Home Attack of 94-Year-Old Man

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Police say two men have been arrested for the beating and robbery of a 94-year-old man at his home in a small central Indiana town.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department said Monday that detectives arrested the 26- and 27-year-old men after finding some items stolen from World War II veteran Herschel Moore at a shop in the town of Arcadia.

Authorities say Moore was attacked by two masked men on Oct. 10 after they broke into his home in Arcadia, some 20 miles north of Indianapolis. Those attackers ransacked Moore's home and also stole a large amount of cash.

The sheriff's department says the men were jailed on preliminary felony counts of robbery and other charges.
