Turner Worked to Nix Nursing Home Ban

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): A powerful Republican lawmaker whose family has a nursing home enterprise successfully spiked legislation last week that would have harmed his family's business. The construction ban would have had disastrous consequences for the development company run by Turner's son and represented at the Statehouse by his daughter.
