Truck Driver Killed in US 30 Crash, Identified

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The semi-truck driver who was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon, has been identified as 43-year-old Gregory Schulz of Michigan.


According to the Allen County Coroner, the victim did not have significant injuries from the crash. However, the coroner's office will release the cause and manner of death once autopsy findings are complete.


The crash happened on US 30 near Synder Road around 4:10 p.m., Wednesday afternoon. The driver was traveling west on US 30 when the semi left the road and rolled into a bean field.
