FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Another reason to fly the Fort Wayne airport…The Fort Wayne International Airport and Republic Parking are joining “Thanks Again” to start a traveler loyalty and engagement initiative. Thanks Again’s program lets airport passengers earn flyer miles, hotel points, or other rewards when they park, shop, or eat at FWA. Travelers can earn the same miles/points at over 170 airports in the United States and 20,000 neighborhood businesses across the country. Here’s how it works: passengers canearn one mile or two hotel points per dollar spent on shopping, dining, or parking. And, passengers can earn a one-time quarterly bonus reward of 5,000 additional miles or 10,000 hotel points if they park at the airport five or more times each calendar quarter.

In a release from the FWA, officials explain how to get started:

Enrollment in the program is SECURE, EASY and FREE. Passengers simply register any AmericanExpress®, MasterCard® or Visa® branded cards at www.thanksagain.com/FWA, select a reward program of their choice, and then use those cards for purchases at participating locations. Points/miles automatically accrue. New members also receive 100 bonus miles (or 200 bonus points) when they enroll with a mobile device by texting FLYFWA to 82257.

Passengers who enroll between March 26, 2014 and May 26,  014, will be entered into the Early Bird Contest for a chance to win 10,000 miles or 20,000 hotel points. The winner will be announced on Friday, May 30, 2014.
