FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Today’s the last day you can sound off on a proposed water rate hike for Fort Wayne.
The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor has set a deadline of today for the public input period on the City’s plans to replace 70 miles of pipe over the next five years, at a 5.8% annual rate hike over the same time period.
Our Partners in News at ABC 21 report that would mean an extra $7.50 a month, or $90 a year, for the average customer once the increase is fully in-place.
