TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP): A wave of thunderstorms dropped heavy rain and caused some scattered damage as it moved across Indiana.
The National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings for parts of four counties in western Indiana in the Terre Haute area Wednesday morning.
No thunderstorm warnings or watches have been issued, but the weather service says about 2.5 inches of rain fell in Terre Haute during the pre-dawn hours. The weather service reported several inches of water in the parking lots of Terre Haute's Honey Creek Mall.
A tree fell onto a house in Lebanon and some roads have flooded in the Bloomington area.
The flash flood warning included Vigo, Clay, Owen and Putnam counties.
