Three Now Charged in Indianapolis Woman’s Slaying

GREENFIELD, Ind. (AP) _ Two more people face murder charges in the fatal shooting of a woman found dead last week along a central Indiana road.

Hancock County court documents say 39-year-old Joe Meyers and 26-year-old Ronnie Westbrook both are charged with murder and kidnapping in the shooting death of 23-year-old Katrina Miller of Indianapolis. Their hometowns were not immediately available. It wasn't clear whether they have attorneys.

Twenty-seven-year-old Amanda Gonzalez of Indianapolis was formally charged Monday with murder and assisting a criminal.

Gonzalez is quoted in a probable cause affidavit as telling an acquaintance that Meyers shot Miller in a dispute over missing drugs.

Miller's body was found July 24 in a Hancock County cornfield just east of Indianapolis.
