Thieves Try To Steal $1,600 in Alcohol at Warsaw Meijer

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Five people attempted to steal over $1,600 worth of alcohol from the Meijer in Warsaw Wednesday morning, leading to four arrests and one escape. 

At about 1 a.m., a Meijer employee contacted Warsaw Police Department about the theft and provided police with information about the vehicle they escaped in. 

Police found and pulled over the vehicle at the intersection of Clark and Roosevelt streets. One person escaped from the vehicle while the other four were arrested. 

Arrested were 25 year old Jamall Hogue, 24 year old Lashanea Schimman, 25 year old Shavondra Davis and 19 year old Timothy Wilson Jr. all of Fort Wayne. They were all booked into Kosciusko Community Jail.
