LAGRANGE, Ind. (WOWO): Police in LaGrange County say thieves did a number on a vehicle that was sitting for sale near a roadway.

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office says someone broke into a 2003 Cadillac CTS as it was sitting at the intersection of 1450 North and 1100 West roads and took the battery, three Bose door speakers, the windshield wipers, and the car’s oil filler and master cylinder caps, while also doing a significant amount of damage all over the car, including damage to the steering column, all four doors, the center console, hood, and vehicle ignition.

Police found hand tools on the scene, as well as fingerprints and possible DNA evidence. If you know anything about this crime, contact police.
