The search for invasive Asian Carp in Lake Erie has moved to the Sandusky River. Crews from Ohio and Michigan and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service checked the river on Tuesday with nets and electro shocking gear. Experts believe the best way to battle the Asian Carp invasion is by closing the most likely gateway to the Great Lakes, the Chicago sanitary and ship canal. Under pressure from congress and advocacy groups, the Army Corps of Engineers has promised to produce options for blocking their passage by the end of next year.
