INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): People in Indianapolis who went to see the film “The Interview,'' which satirizes North Korea's isolated communist regime, say extra security was evident.

Josh Russell told WTHR-TV that it was “kind of crazy'' to be searched before seeing the movie at the Georgetown 14 Cinemas in Indianapolis.

Curtis Coonrod says he bought tickets as soon as he could, saying be felt like it was his duty. Coonrod says he believes in free speech and he doesn't like to see somebody trying to silence anyone.

Theater general manager Leigh Friedman told WISH-TV that he believes seeing the film was an expression of patriotism.

WTHR reports there was one glitch. When the movie started Angelina Jolie's “Unbroken'' played instead. Theater management says the mistake was human error and “The Interview'' was shown.
