Notre Dame and the Big East have reached an agreement that will let the Irish officially move to the ACC on July 1st.
It comes with a $2.5 million fine for leaving the league early, as a fine of some sort was expected. With their departure all of the catholic schools in the big east will be gone after this season.
Notre Dame Football will remain dependant as part of the agreement, but will have a set number of ACC opponents they have to play each season.
