Teen Charged in January Robbery

FORT WAYNE: (WOWO): Formal charges have been filed against a Fort Wayne teen after he allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint in January.

16-year-old Stephon Holland, is being charged with robbing a man at gunpoint as he was getting items from his car, that's according to The Journal-Gazette. Holland is being treated as an adult.

The incident happened January 18 on Hessen Cessel. Holland made off with the man's cell phone and a wallet with about $60.

Police were able to follow the footprints to a home on Bowser Avenue. After obtaining a search warrant, that's where they found the gun hidden in a shoe and the man's wallet hidden inside a toilet.
