JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Indiana economic development officials say a Switzerland-based auto parts supplier is expanding to a southern Indiana industrial park and creating about 220 jobs by 2018.
They say Autoneum, a maker of acoustic and thermal management products, will lease and equip a 300,000 square-foot manufacturing and distribution center at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says it offered Autoneum North America up to $2 million in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company's job-creation plans. Also, the River Ridge Development Authority approved property tax abatement for the company at the request of a local development agency.
The IEDC says Autoneum has begun hiring engineers and managers and will begin hiring production workers toward the end of the year.
