SUV Drives into Store in Southern Indiana

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP): Police in southern Indiana say a 57-year-old man suffering an unspecified medical emergency drove a sport utility vehicle into a convenience store, causing injuries to him and a person in the store.
Floyd County Police Officer Brad Scott says William Culpepper drove a Ford Explorer into a Save A Step store in his hometown of New Albany shortly after 1 p.m. Friday.
A person in the convenience store was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, treated and released. Police say an infant in the store was taken to the hospital by her mother but suffered no signs of trauma or injury.
Police say Culpepper was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
