Suu Kyi for President?

Yangon, Myanmar (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Myanmar opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has declared her willingness to serve as her country’s president.

Suu Kyi said that it was her political party’s goal to amend the constitution to allow her to run.

She said that it’s her “duty” if that’s what people want.

Myanmar’s next election is in 2015.
