Survey Shows Americans Don’t Have Enough Money Saved in Case of Job Loss

How much money do you have tucked away in case of an amergency? In case, God forbid, you lose your job? According to a survey by Bankrate.com, 28 percent of all American’s have less than 6 months savings…which is the amount most financial experts say that you need in case you lose your job…and that may not be enough because of how long it takes most people to find a job. The survey also showed that out of everyone they spoke with, 21 percent said they had saved some money but not 3 months worth, and if you add the amount of people who haven’t saved anything at all you’re looking at about half of all Americans are on the edge of fiancial disaster.
