ALLEN COUNT, Ind. (WOWO): Multiple organizations are banding together to bring a suicide prevention assembly to area schools.

Area schools are teaming up with RemedyLIVE, the creator of Get Schooled Tour. RemedyLIVE is a web-based chat center. It’s staffed with more than 100 people who chat with youth who are struggling.

The chat is available 24/7 and can be activated by texting 494949. A grant from the Lutheran Foundation is funding the Get Schooled Tour.

Seven area schools will host the assembly, which is an hour that combines live music, interactive polling and motivating videos.

The Lutheran Foundation is funding the tour to promote the new Look up Indiana website. The website focuses on mental health and wellness.
