Washington, D.C. (WOWO): Monday afternoon, Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in the Hobby Lobby case:
“This is a landmark victory for religious liberty over the Obama Administration’s continued attempts to ignore constitutional limits. In 1993, Congress passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act by a wide bipartisan margin to prevent the federal government from compelling Americans to live or work in violation of their conscience. Today, that law was upheld, and the right of religious freedom was preserved. I join millions of Americans today in celebration of the Supreme Court’s decision to check Big Government overreach.”
