Storm Causes Scattered Indiana Power Outages

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Several thousand homes and businesses across much of Indiana are without electricity after a line of thunderstorms moved across the state. The National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado watch at various times early Tuesday from around the Bloomington area, through Indianapolis and on to the Muncie region. No severe damage was immediately reported, although trees and power lines were knocked down throughout the area.
