A Steuben County man is facing federal counterfeiting charges after fake money showed up around Angola this year. Police began their investigation after they received information about a woman who was allegedly spotted trying to buy a gift card with phony $10 bills at the Angola Walmart.  According to the Journal Gazette, investigators searched an apartment where Scot Silvers was staying and found items that included printers, linen business paper, and a credit card-making machine, along with copies of various bills.
