State Dept. of Education Creates “State of the Classroom” Videos

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana Department of Education has a new way to address the state's education system.

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, instead of a prepared speech, the State Dept. of Education has created a documentary video that focuses on the difficulties inside and outside of the classroom.

In the video, a panel of experts affiliated with various Indiana school districts will discuss the students' classroom environment and any needs they may have within in the community.

Superintendent of Public Instruction, Glenda Ritz, is on board with the videos and says it's a way to find the “true state of the classroom.”

The documentary will air tomorrow on WFWA, Fort Wayne channel 39.4 at 8:00PM
