Southwood High School Student Dies After Accident

WABASH, Ind. (WOWO): A Wabash teen has died almost a week after getting into an accident that also hurt two others.

The Allen County Coroner's Office notified the Wabash County Sheriff's Department that 17 year old Emilie Harnish died Thursday morning at a Fort Wayne hospital. She was the driver that authorities say caused an accident at the intersection of State Route 124 and County Road 100 West in Wabash County on Saturday. 

Harnish suffered severe head trauma and internal injuries. 

57 year old Maureen Hall of McComb, Ohio and 21 year old Vivian Schmidt of Findley, Ohio were in the other vehicle. Both are recovering from fractures and internal injuries.
