FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An announcement is expected Monday to name the next leader of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.

Sources tell WOWO News, Fort Wayne's Eric Doden – an outgoing member of the Gov. Mike Pence's statewide job creation efforts, will take the job.

Friday was Doden's last official day as president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

Doden wouldn't confirm the move, he told WOWO News Friday, there would be an

announcement that would “involve the future of Northeast Indiana.”

Greater Fort Wayne confirmed there is a press conference scheduled for Monday.

Mark Becker left Greater Fort Wayne in January to take a consultants role with Parkview Health.  Greater Fort Wayne combines the work of the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Alliance.
