FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne native and Snider alum Rod Woodson is going to the College Football Hall of Fame this year.
The National Football Foundation announced that Woodson, who was inducted to the NFL's Hall of Fame in 2009, will be among the 14 players and two coaches selected for the honor this year.
The legendary defensive back and Purdue All-American will join Bert Jones of LSU and Pat McInally of Harvard in pregame activities prior to the National Championship game Monday between Clemson and Alabama.
He'll be formally inducted on December 6th during an awards dinner in New York City.
