Smoke Damages FW Home

Fort Wayne firefighters extinguished a kitchen fire in a residence on Packard Ave. last night. A resident reported that the fire resulted from heating up a pan of grease for cooking. An adult and two children were able to exit the home without injury prior to the fire department’s arrival. The fire heavily damaged the kitchen and resulted in smoke damage throughout the residence.
