A shooting on the east side of Fort Wayne puts one man in the hospital in critical condition.  Fort Wayne Police say they received a call about neighbors being awakened by the sound of gunfire at about 3 in the morning.  When they got to the neighborhood at Wayne not far from Anthony they found one man had been hit.  They rushed to the hospital where at last word he was in critical condition.  As to what lead to this police say according to some folks in the area the man was walking down the street when they believe a light colored Cadillac came up on the guy and shot.  The police did recover a gun near the scene but they don’t know if that was used in the shooting.  No one has been arrested and there are no suspects at this point, but they’re still working on it.
