FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting that led to a car accident.

Police got a call around 12:38 p.m., Wednesday afternoon about shots being fired and an accident with injuries in the area of Decatur Road near Serenity Drive. Once on the scene police found an SUV with a broken windshield and other damage. Officers spoke with a woman who claimed she was a passenger in the vehicle and that her brother was the driver.

She stated that her brother had told her that they were going to stop at apartment. She said they stopped; her brother went inside and later came out. She said two black men followed her brother out and started shooting as they were driving away.

She then claimed that her brother flipped the car. Once it rolled over, she said he brother got out and took off running and was followed by the two suspects.
