As of right now our listening area is under a high wind warning from 1PM to 1AM Monday morning.   Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected towards the Indiana / Illinois border by late this morning and race northeast. The storms can quickly evolve into supercells with the risk of developing tornadoes.

The main threat from mid afternoon on will transition to mainly damaging winds, possibly in excess of 70 mph. However, an increased risk for tornadoes will exist where breaks in the line occur or on the northern portions of bowing segments.

Families and businesses should make sure preparations. If a warning is issued, DO NOT WAIT and SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY!

We'll bring you the latest as it happens on WOWO Radio 1190AM / 92.3FM.
