Several Arrested in Warsaw for Drug-Related Charges

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Several people were arrested in Warsaw for drug-related charges. The first incident happened just before 5:30 yesterday evening when Warsaw Police investigated a suspicious vehicle at Lucerne Park in Warsaw. Police followed the vehicle and made a traffic stop following traffic violations. Police impounded the vehicle after discovering the driver, Angelique Holmes of Mentone, had a suspended license. While they took inventory, police found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and meth in the vehicle. The passenger, Coty Prater, of Winona Lake, was arrested and charged with dealing meth, marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. Those charges were increased to a class B felony for being at a city park. Holmes was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and driving while suspended.

Warsaw Police also served several drug warrants yesterday afternoon and arrested:

• Catherine Curtis, 68 years old, of Warsaw, IN., for dealing or manufacturing in a schedule I controlled substance.
• Zachary Kerr, 25 years old, of Silver Lake, IN., for dealing or manufacturing in a schedule V controlled substance.
• Michael Nelson, 26 yeas old, of Silver Lake, IN., for dealing or manufacturing in a schedule I or II narcotic drug, and theft.
• Mark Ogle, 29 years old, of Warsaw, IN., for possession of marijuana.
• Arthur Phagan, 64 years old, of Warsaw, IN., for possession of marijuana.
• Weston Souther, 40 years old, of Warsaw, IN., for possession of a schedule I or II narcotic drug.
• Daniel Trump, 35 years old, of Warsaw, IN., for possession of a counterfeit substance with intent to deal.
