WASHINGTON, D.C., (WOWO/NETWORK INDIANA): Republicans and Democrats alike supported Congressman Steve Scalise by wearing LSU gear at their charity baseball game, but Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly took it one step further.

At Thursday’s annual charity baseball game between Republicans and Democrats in Congress, Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly not only sported LSU gear to show support for Congressman Steve Scalise who was shot during a GOP practice Wednesday in Virginia, but he also wore a Delphi softball jersey, honoring Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13.

The families of both girls say they both played softball before they were tragically murdered.

The bodies of the two teen Delphi girls were found Feb. 14 near a Delphi hiking trail.
