FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): As Work Zone Safety Week continues around Indiana, INDOT crews will begin some construction on S.R. 930/Coliseum Boulevard.

Bridge rehabilitation work will get underway Wednesday, on S.R. 930/Coliseum Boulevard over East Washington Boulevard. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction over East Washington, however ramps will remain open.

As it is Work Zone Safety Week, INDOT crews are reminding Hoosiers to use extra caution and consider worker safety when driving through the active construction zone. Drivers can expect to see heavy equipment in the area and an advisory speed limit of 35 mph.

The lane restrictions will remain in effect until August.

The project was awarded to R.L. McCoy for $867,000.
