Rushville Couple Arrested for Dealing Steroids

RUSHVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ An eastern Indiana couple are under arrest after what authorities broke up what they are calling the largest lab ever found in Indiana for producing anabolic steroids.

Rushville Police Chief Craig Tucker says 39-year-old David Starkey and 34-year-old Holly Starkey are charged with dealing in a controlled substance.

Starkey says Drug Enforcement Agency agents call the couple's home the largest steroid production site ever uncovered in this state. Steroids were seized from the home just east of Rushville, about 40 miles southeast of Indianapolis.

Investigators say the operation included raw materials, processing, packaging and distribution. Federal postal inspectors assisted in the investigation.
