Road Rage incident caught on camera

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A woman was attacked by another driver in a road rage incident in Fort Wayne yesterday.

It happened at the intersection of Ardmore and Covington at about 8am Thursday. A video posted online and shared by our Partners in News at ABC 21 shows a man swearing at the woman, and swinging at her.

Cindy Stiles, one of the two people involved, says she was sitting at the intersection when Michael Hollars came up to her, yelling, and hit her multiple times. Hollars says he didn’t hit her, but was instead hitting a phone she was holding to record the encounter.

The whole thing was apparently over Stiles not using her turn signal. Hollars drove away after the incident but police reportedly caught up to him, and he’s now facing charges.

A 60-year-old man died from a heart attack after being beaten in another road rage incident in Fort Wayne last month. One person was arrested in that case for involuntary manslaughter.
