Reynolds Fire Victim Identified

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A fire this morning in southwest Fort Wayne has claimed one life. 

Authorities say 29-year old Joshus Ohmart died in the fire. He was pulled from the home, but died at the scene.

Just before 6:00 a.m., firefighters were called to Reynolds Street. That's near DuBois and Warren Street.

The coroner's report says Ohmart died from smoke inhalation.  It took crews about 21 minutes to bring the fire under control. As of right now the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
