Republicans Search for Pond’s Replacement

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana Republicans are taking steps to fill the seat being vacated by a longtime lawmaker from northeastern Indiana. Representative Phyllis Pond is retiring because she suffers from pulmonary fibrosis. Her resignation takes effect October 15th after close to four decades in the Indiana House of Representatives.
