REPORT: City Working to keep BAE Jobs


A report in today's News-Sentinel reveals city officials are meeting with representatives of BAE Systems to keep nearly 1,000 jobs in town. Locally, the plant builds control systems for aircraft.

The report says the company is considering locations in nearby Paulding  and Van Wert Counties in Ohio.  

The city is said to be countering with incentives, including a $20 million dollar offer to build a new facility or renovate the current building on Taylor Street.
