FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership’s “Road to One Million” plan needs a director.
With the approval of an additional $42-million in funding for the state’s Regional Cities Initiative announced last night, now leaders in the three winning regions – including Fort Wayne – can move forward with some of their plans for the money.
The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, for example, has posted a job opening for someone to direct their “Road to One Million” plan, which has a goal of getting the area’s population to a million or more people by 2020.
A good candidate must have a vision for the region in the years ahead, strong attention to detail, and ethical behavior “above reproach.”
