Reality TV Show ‘Dance Moms” Heads to Summit City

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Lifetime Networks’ reality TV show, “Dance Moms” is heading to the Summit City to film an episode on October 20th.

The television show features the Abby Lee Dance Company and shows the dramatic events involving instructor Abby Lee Miller, students and their moms. The students on the show will be participating in the Xpression Dance Competition in Fort Wayne.

The Fort Wayne competition was added to the shows line up after another competition had fallen though.

The Fort Wayne event begins at 10 a.m. Oct. 20, and tickets at $45 each went on sale Wednesday through the ArtsTix Community Box Office at the Arts United Center.

Chris Jones, director of finance and operations at the Arts United Center, said the Arts United auditorium seats 655, but only 260 seats will be available to the general public.
