Randy Quaid Sues Indiana Bail bond Company

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Actor Randy Quaid has sued an Indianapolis bond company that bailed Quaid and his wife out of jail after they were arrested on squatting charges in California in 2010.
 
The Indianapolis Star reports the 63-year-old movie actor sued American Surety in Hamilton County Court, saying the company posted two $50,000 bonds for the couple without being asked, obligating them to repay bonds that they didn't ask for.
 
The Quaids were arrested in September 2010 after an alarm went off at their former Montecito home and the couple was found living in a guest house. They were detained by police in Vancouver a month later after they missed a court hearing and a warrant was issued for their arrest
