Purdue Senate Approves Resolution Opposing Gay Marriage Ban

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): The Purdue University Senate approved a resolution opposing Indiana's proposed constitutional ban on same-sex marriage. Purdue's senate originally planned to only discuss the matter. Senators temporarily suspended the rules so that they could vote on the resolution. The university senate includes faculty, students, staff and administrators.
